What to Do in Paris when it Rains
If it’s your first time coming to Paris, you might be surprised by the bad weather. Believe it or not, it rains here more than it seems.

10-Ideas to Do in Paris When it’s Rainy
1. Visit the Catacombs of Paris
In their beginnings, before becoming catacombs, these tunnels were limestone quarries. They were called Les Carrières de Paris (the quarries of Paris).
In 1786, many diseases plagued the city of Paris. It was decided to move the bodies and bones from different cemeteries to these tunnels.
There are 300 km of catacombs, but only a small part can be visited.
Visiting the catacombs when it rains is something that many people do. Our recommendation is that you buy your ticket in advance.
The price of the general admission is 10 euros and the under-18s do not pay.

Si visitas París en invierno u otoño, ir a un salón de té para entrar en calor puede ser una muy buena idea. Si no eres de tomar té, puedes tomarte un chocolate caliente.

5. Visit the Crypt of Notre Dame Cathedral *(It’s close after the fire)
Visitar la Catedral de Notre Dame es un imprescindible de París. Y si tienes alguna de las city cards, seguro tendrás incluida la visita a la cripta. Aprovecha un día lluvioso para hacer esta visita.

6. Visit a Parisian gallery, such as the Galerie Vivienne or the Passage Choiseul

Galerie Vivienne
Esta bonita galería se encuentra muy cerca del Palacio Real. Fue construida en 1823 por Marchoux. Su popularidad volvió cuando en la década de 1980 Jean-Paul Gaultier abrió una boutique allí.
En la actualidad, vas a poder ver boutiques de lujo, tiendas peculiares de arte, tiendas de libros, telas, un salón de té y bistrós pintorescos.

Passage Choiseul
El Passage Choiseul es un monumento histórico registrado. Fue construido en 1825. En la década de 1970, la galería se puso de moda cuando Kenzo abrió una boutique aquí (ahora ubicada en Place des Victoires).

Le Dernier Bar avant la Fin du Monde se ha autoproclamado como “un espacio para la expresión de culturas imaginarias”, se encuentra en el centro de París y es el hogar de todo lo geek, la ciencia ficción y la fantasía.
Le Dernier es un paraíso de 400 metros cuadrados para jugar una enorme variedad de juegos, tomar deliciosos cócteles originales (prueba la ‘Hiedra Venenosa’) y relajarte en un búnker anti-zombie.

10. Going to an alternative cinema in Paris when it rains
