How to Get to Seville?

AVE train: Convenient and fast travel from Madrid to Seville in just a few hours.

Rental car or own car: Enjoy the flexibility of traveling by car to Seville.

Bus option: Affordable but slower, buses connect Seville with various destinations across Spain.

Airplane: Less practical unless living near the airport or staying in Seville for an extended period.

Visit the Seville Cathedral and the Giralda

Visit Seville's Cathedral and Giralda. Cathedral entry was free but blocked due to a mass.  Giralda, the city's main attraction, offers stunning views. Admission: €7 (free on Sundays).

Real Alcázar of Seville

The Real Alcázar is a stunning, historic palace near Seville Cathedral.  Witness to centuries of diverse cultures. Open at 9:30 am, entry: €11.50.

Golden Tower

The Golden Tower of Seville, an 11th-century defensive tower, gained its name due to various theories:  sunlight, golden tiles, or storing American riches. 

Neighborhood of Triana

Explored Torre de Oro to Triana, crossing Puente de Triana, strolling Calle Betis, and capturing the charm of this famous Sevillian neighborhood.

Bridge of Isabel II or Puente de Triana

The picturesque bridge links Seville's banks, offering stunning views of the city's skyline, including the cathedral, Giralda, Torre del Oro, and colorful houses in Triana.

Paseo de Cristóbal Colón 

Visited Barrio de Triana, crossed Guadalquivir river to Lonja del Barranco market.  Walked along river promenade to Plaza de España, Paseo Colon, Torre del Oro. Continued on Paseo de las Delicias.

Paseo de las Delicias showcases San Telmo Palace and the Costurero de la Reina Exhibition Center.  Next, Avenida de Maria Luisa leads to the Museum of Science House, Casino de la Exhibition, and Plaza de España.

Square of Spain of Seville

Seville's iconic monument, located in María Luisa Park. Impressive semi-elliptical shape, beautiful tile decoration, boat rides. Must-visit, especially at sunset.  Planning to return for longer stay.
