We made this trip as part of our route 66 road trip<\/a><\/strong> summer and then in January, in the middle of winter, as part of our trip to New Mexico to visit family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even though it was winter, we could do the tour in one day. As you can see in the photos, this area is snowing and cold. And in summer, it’s hot as hell. But no matter what time of year you travel there, I’m sure you’ll love it.<\/p>\n\n\n
